You're invited to follow along with our beekeeping You're invited to follow along with our beekeeping adventure at @bluespringsbees !
🐝 30,000 honey bees moved into their new hives in our back yard on Tuesday. We're learning as we go, and we're having a blast!
🐝 We've put so much work into the research and preparation for these little fuzzy butts, and we're so excited that they're finally here!
🐝 We'll be sharing our process of building the hives, renovating our little shed into our "honey house" (work space for bottling honey one day), and more!
🐝 Later this week, we'll be checking on our 3 queens to make sure the worker bees have released them from their cages.
🐝 Follow along! It'll "bee" fun!
Tried The Mobile Chef food truck (@mobile_chefrb ) Tried The Mobile Chef food truck (@mobile_chefrb )for the first time at the last Food Truck Friday in downtown @mytupelo . The shrimp and grits is a winning meal! Sooo much flavor and enough to share (though you probably won't want to)!
.
Head to Tupelo's Fairpark each Friday for Food Truck Friday! Some of our other absolute favorite dishes are:
🍴Gourmet Cheesesteak Rolls from @msediblebliss
🍴Fried Ravioli from @gypsyroadsidemobile

#ad Today, I'm teaming up with Adidas to tell you #ad Today, I'm teaming up with Adidas to tell you about my favorite travel shoes! The Adidas Grand Court sneaker is my go-to for comfort and durability during long travel days. They've been with me all over Buffalo, New York and Niagara Falls, Disney World, and even hikes through the woods close to home. I've easily walked over 200 miles in my first pair, and they're still going strong!
.
You may have seen me wearing them on our zipline ride to Niagara Falls, paired with a dress at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, posing at the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile, or at Mize Mill Waterfall in Alabama.
.
I also love the Adidas Racer Lite Adapt shoe. I have a pair in gray. They don't have laces, just slip right on! They'll be the PERFECT airport shoe when travel begins again!
.
I'm also excited about the new Stan Smiths featuring Disney characters. The Mike Wazowski shoes are THE cutest! And they'd be perfect with all my Monsters accessories! (Y'all know I dress like this all the time, right? Not just on Disney trips! 😆)

#ad Is this not the most gorgeous desk plate ever? #ad Is this not the most gorgeous desk plate ever?! (And not just because it has my name on it 😉.) My friends over at @nametagwizard sent me this beautiful custom acrylic desk name plate, sparkly name tag, and durable luggage tags.
.
I've always wanted a desk plate with my name on it. I worked in photography studios for years, and a name plate would have been so cute on my desk! But now, I'm a travel blogger, and even though my workspace is at home, I finally have my name plate that makes me feel so official (aka THE BOSS!). 💪
.
I'll be wearing my new name tag on future press trips, and I can't wait to use these luggage tags (name and address info is on the back of each)! 🧳 Absolutely dreaming of the day when it will be safe to adventure the world again! ✈

The ground is messy from the melted ice and snow.. The ground is messy from the melted ice and snow... perfect for this little polar bear to get his feet muddy... but things are warming up and slowly turning green here in Mississippi!
The icy mess is melting away... hopefully we'll se The icy mess is melting away... hopefully we'll see some gorgeous buttercups popping up soon! This morning, we found that our water was nothing but mud and oil (yeah. Ew.). Around lunch, we discovered our neighbor's pipes have burst (they haven't been home in days). Mark reacted quickly and turned off their water. We now have clear water again! Scared to drink it, of course, but it sure does make me feel better! One day without water is challenging, so this is the perfect chance to remind you to think of the people in Texas, and donate if you can! https://feedingtexas.networkforgood.com/projects/124201-texas-disaster-response
Yesterday, we were treated to this gorgeous sunset Yesterday, we were treated to this gorgeous sunset. Today, we have another dreary Mississippi winter day. The snow flurries are coming down, and our yard is one huge sheet of ice.
.
For those of you wondering, no this is definitely not a normal thing here in Mississippi. We get snow MAYBE one day a year and usually a few days of treacherous ice. Because it happens so very rarely, the state is not prepared for winter weather. So, when those days happen, the whole state basically shuts down. And then we go "sledding" on any random thing we can find. 🤣
